Cod with brussels sprouts

Some weeks the cart should admit which item costs the money. That week it was cod. Brussels beside it, lemon, no maple on the sprouts.

Breakfast was oats, a pear, and walnuts. The pear was the sweet. There was no brown sugar in the pot. Lunch was beets and white beans, because the beets were in and a can of beans is how a salad becomes a meal.

Squash and mushrooms sat that one out. They had already had a week. A plate that changes is the whole trick. If the same roasted vegetable is ‘in season’ forever, you are not shopping. You are decorating.

The cook order and the video are on this week’s low-sugar meal plan. What we are buying and leaving is on what’s hot and what is not. The rules that do not change are the method.
